Learning from the new peoples

We all are human beings and everybody is having their own unique characteristics. Apart from that Day by day when we are growing we will come to many things from our experience. Sometimes we will do something and will be thinking that what ever we are doing that is right. I am always correct, that kind of mentalities should not be there, then only we can grow in our life. I have learned many things from the new peoples whom I have seen in USA.Everybody (Most of them) try to follow the rules and regulations and They are respecting other peoples.Eventhough they are younger, they are giving respect and caring about everyone. If something happened to you, they will start helping even though they don’t know you earlier. By seeing these things and all. I also started following them. I took these kind of good things from those peoples.

Tata's Nanao-1 lakh Rs car

Most recently, one of my cousin booked a new car TATA NANO, popularly known as the one lakh rupees car.Being a LX modenanl it was brought at a price of 2 lakh rupees. It had a cute smiley face with exaggerated round shaped roof. The front tyres of the car look as if they have been taken from a scooter and rear tyres are large to take the weight of the engine.feul tank and battery has been placed under the front seat.Nano looks good with tipped forward stance and the air inlet behind the rear door.Getting in and out of Nano is very easier,as the door opens very wide and high seat allow us to slide in with utmost ease. This car provides plenty of legroom even for six footers. The dash board is unique with a high mounted speedometer, digital fuel guage and an odometer.A slot for stereo has been provided but with no speaker enclosures.

Officially, fuel consumption is 23.4kpl but on road we can expect around 15-16 kpl.The only disturbing feature is, when you turn the key, Nano fires with muffled 'pud pud pud' sound that resembles an autorickshaw. On the whole, TATA has delivered a spacious and efficient car.

My Favorite Canon PowerShot SX20 IS

The Canon PowerShot SX20 IS ($369 as of 12/21/09) has an impressive trio of headline features: amazing 20X optical zoom, a 12.1 MP sensor, and HD quality video recording. These Canon PowerShot SX20 IS is one of the best point and shoot camera and it looks like DSLR camera. Zoom is the first attractive point of this camera. few of my friends are having this camera. I have seen the HD videos which they captured in their mobiles. The quality is really awesome. I am also planning to buy this camera. waiting for the good deal. Probably during chrismas or New Year I will buy this camera. This camera is quite similar to SX10IS; sporting the same zoom lens, flip-out LCD, and Digic 4 processor as that model. However, the SX20 IS having 720p HD video shooting capabilities and a 12.1-megapixel sensor (compared to SX10 IS's 10-megapixel sensor), and ISO equivalency settings up to 3200 (the SX10 IS maxes out at ISO 1600).

Corning Museum of Glass

When we are going to Niagara Falls, on the way we went to one of the World’s largest glass museum “Corning Museum of Glass”. First one is new Innovations section and the second one is Old Archive galleries which contain 18th and 19th century glass products and all other handcraft items. Third one is most attractive one “Glass Blowing-Live” they have shown as how they are making the Glass Artistry products. It was really amazing. She took only 15 min to make the design glass product with some colors. Apart from that there were some museum stores are there and they are selling all kind of amazing glass products. It was so colorful and all the designs of the glass products were really good.

Brittany Murphy’s family members were telling to government officials that she was ill with flu symptoms before her death. Britney Murphy starred in such films as "8 Mile", "Clueless" and "Don't Say a Word”. The reason for the death is she is very thin, suffer from a heart problem and have diabetes and etc.Like that some peoples are creating rumors and all. But investigation is going on. Once that is released then only we can come to some conclusion. She is one of my favorite actresses.

American way of working

I worked with many American, Chinese and other country peoples. What I feel is Americans are cool and at the same time talented also. The work culture in America is too good. “Work while you work play while you play” this is what the Americans following. What ever happens in the work, they won’t stay late and all. They will more importance to the family also. They won’t mix the family and job. They shows good attitude and when they attack problems they use very methodical way to resolve them. Suppose if they found some issue then they will start analyzing the logs very carefully and they will find the exact issues. They won’t care about the time they are spending in analyzing the logs. They use to develop their own tools to make the work easier. They used to take more time to come to the right conclusion. I would say they will use the much matured way of facing problems or requirements. They will come up with strong data/graphs/proofs to substantiate their views. That is how they are making good decisions and getting appreciated.

Indian work culture

you will be knowing better is like more un orthodox ways ...I can say our style provides some kind of out of box thinking ...some little less efficient in results in longer run ...We analyze the problems/requirements and we jump into conclusions little earlier than the US counterparts ..May be that is because of some fear... (may be job fear if we don’t resolve early they might reject us ...or fear towards the bosses .. ) because we came from culture where we know that loosing job is more painful ....that’s why when Philips CEO completed his 5 yrs in India he wrote an article (may be you can refer that..) regarding the work culture in India. He says "Indian pleases their bosses too much”. We say less estimation for a task and we tend to stretch/manage to live by our words. This is what he meant by that statements. May be this is because we have some fear in the corner of the mind that. If we don’t have this job. we will be struggling like every other average Indian citizen ..Because we all came from the same society. That’s one of the reason we tend to use unorthodox method to face the problems. Which some 50% times can give good results in short time. Other times. May be bad / wrong results. Indians lacks in little innovation initiatives. We like to like by manual methods ...and that’s one of the reason the productivity is less compared to US. May be this phenomenon is continued from our history ...from the olden days you see the innovation from the west is more compared to others ...This again comes from the culture. May be some 10 yrs back.when any middle class Indian boy says I want to become like Michel Jackson ...their parents will not allow ....the 60% educated population of India (middle class) always believes only the legacy way of getting success in life ...study technical/doctor or some standard and get job and then only life is settled. Parents make children feel that. Getting some job and settling with family and kids are ultimate destiny ...But US people motivate or at least don’t de motivate the Childs aspirations ...if at least 5% of them becomes success. they achieve great heights ...Others get motivated by them. Another thing is always the western people have the feeling that they are superior and Asians have feeling that we r inferior ...I don’t know this complex is right are wrong it’s from the western culture. Go extra mile always. At least to prove that they are superior...

Chinese Work culture

China peoples are 70% same as Indian peoples. They are shy in nature, inferior compiled, submissive.China was born and brought up in a communist environment where you need to think you are slave of somebody ...not more than..and not less than that. Because of this culture .this is what happens...

- They will think everybody as their boss and they are slaves..so they work very hard for their bosses .so the result china's productivity level is more than India ..that’s why they are able to produce everything in very less production cost than India ..Indian manufacturing sectors and textile industry is victim of these problems...

- They take seriously each every issue ..they feel that if this issue (which is given by his Boss) is not resolved they will be killed ...they panic and they live by that mode .till they resolve the issue ...

Niagara-Terrapin Point Horseshoe falls

In Niagara Falls State park, the top portion of the falls is names as Terrapin Point Horseshoe falls .From there you can have a top view. That too in the night, just imagine. But we guys were playing and taking snaps and videos etc... We spend almost 2 hours there and then we went the Best western the Inn at Buffalo Airport where we have our hotel rooms booked. The hotel 25 miles from the Niagara Falls State park. Next day morning when we came back to Niagara Falls, we were surprised by seeing the huge flow of water. The height of the falls is not too high and all. But the width is more and awesome view. We have seen few people those who came from the Canada side. Only disappointment was because of the winter the closed the “maid of the mist” and all. Apart from that everything was good.

My Dream-Niagara falls-fulfilled

Hi friends I would like to share something with you all. I felt like “I am the happiest person in this world” yes, my childhood dream came true. I don’t want to keep the happiest moment with me. It’s nothing but Niagara Falls. When i was a kid I used see the Niagara Falls in movies and TV. When I am telling to my family that “I would like to see this place”. They were laughing at me. Even during my college life also I never thought about this. But now I came to USA and settled over here and went to Niagara Falls. Its almost 7 hours drive from my home. Once after reaching that place, I could not able to be calm. In the happiness I started jumping. It was really amazing and I and my friends started dancing and all. We had a very good time in Niagara Falls.

HP Buyback plan

HP tripled the size of its share repurchase program to $12 b as China sales and better profit margins on its services boosted quarterly earnings.

The fiscal 4th quarter results released on Nov23rd were in line with beginning figures that HP gave two weeks ago, which had topped Wall Street's estimates at the time. Shares of HP fell down slightly in after few hours of trading. It is a hardware and technology services company that is a bellwether for IT spending, has been more careful than some of its peers in predicting an economic turnaround.

But CE Mark Hurd sounded somewhat more positive, noting pockets of frequent demand, including in its closely watched printer business, which has struggled this year."The economy remains challenging, but we do see encouraging signs of recovery in certain markets," Hurd said."They're basically pointing to year-over-year growth in the January quarter," said Kaufman Bros analyst Shaw Wu. "It's a good sign."

US proposing plan for Greenhouse gas emissions

The US is planning to propose a near-term target for reducing greenhouse gas emissions effect before the UN Climate Change summit in Copenhagen next month Dec 2009, a senior administration official said Monday. obama will announce the specific target “in coming days.”

The announcement of a target will take the present legislative deadlock over a climate bill into account, the senior official said, and thus might present a range of possible reduction rather than a single figure.

The lack of agreement in Congress puts obama in a complicated domestic and sensitive bind. He cannot promise more than Congress may ultimately bring when it takes up climate change legislation in 2010. But if he does not offer some solid pledge, the United States will bear the impact of the blame for the lack of an proper agreement nationwide.

Obama's Nobel peace prize speech

Once again president Obama's brilliant speech in Oslo makes people feel he is quite deserving to
get the Nobel peace prize. He starts his speech by saying others may be deserving more to get this prize. He stated the importance of pursuing nuclear non proliferation and combating the terrorism.By stating this, I think he stresses the need for the armed conflicts to keep lasting peace in the world. He also stated that United States has been the force for the good for decades. Nobody can criticize him selected for the Nobel peace prize, if he succeed in his peace efforts.

Manhatten-important place in NewYork

Manhattan Island is about two miles wide and over 12 miles long. It contains most of the business, economic, entertainment and cultural sights of the city. A four-miles long by half-mile wide Central Park, located at the very center of the island, neatly divides the city into sectors. The southern part of the island is called "Downtown" and the section directly south of Central Park is called "mid-town". Everything from the middle of the park to the northern tip of the island is usually called "Uptown". The part of the island closest to Long Island is called the "East Side" and the part closer to the Hudson River is the "West Side". The two neighborhoods lying on either side of Central Park are called "Upper East Side" and "Upper West Side".

The numbered streets of Manhattan all run east-west beginning with First Street just above Greenwich Village, and extending all the way up to 218th Street at the far northern tip of Up-town. Avenues run north-south beginning with First Avenue on the East Side and extending to Twelfth Avenue along the Hudson River on the West Side. These numbered Avenues are interspersed with named Avenues such as Park Avenue, Lexington, Madison and Broadway. Broadway is a bit unusual as it starts out as a typical north-south avenue in the middle of the island downtown, but angles sharply to the west just below Central Park and continues on up the West Side to the top of the island.

It is larger than the Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Glacier and Olympic National Parks combined.Apart from all this very imporant places such as Statue of Liberty,Times Square,Brooklyn Bridge,Empire State(More than 85 floors),Wall street,Nasdaq etc...

Major Political parties in USA

There are two big parties in American politics: The Democratic Party and the Republican Party. The Democratic Party is mainly a liberal party supported by the labor organizations and the intellectuals. The Democrats favors a government that should focus on social matters. The Republican Party is a more conservative party that is supported by the big corporations and the industry. The Republicans wants the government to have as little involvement in public life as possible. The difference between the two parties can be hard to see because a Republican from one state can easily be more liberal than a Democratic from another state.

Only two parties have grown big in the United States. This is because of the American election system. However, there are several small parties like Ralph Nader's Green Party and in fact there are also a Socialist Party and a Communist Party.

United States-Politics overview

The United States of America (commonly referred to as the United States, the U.S., the USA, or America) is a federal constitutional republic comprising fifty states and a federal district. The country is situated mostly in central North America, where its forty-eight contiguous states and Washington, D.C., the capital district, lie between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. The state of Alaska is in the northwest of the continent, with Canada to the east and Russia to the west across the Bering Strait.
United States is the one of the most powerful country and well developed country also. The power of the United States has been divided into three branches like in other democracies in the world. These branches are: the legislative arm, the executive arm, and the judicial arm. The legislative arm, which is making the laws, consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives. The executive arm is the President and his administration. Finally, the judicial arm is the Supreme Court and other federal courts. The President has a big amount of power but he cannot pass laws alone. The Congress is the only branch that can pass a law.
